Learning support
NECA Education & Careers have dedicated language, literacy and numeracy student support officers at each of our Carlton North and Dandenong campuses to provide immediate, face-to-face support to apprentices as needed.
We assess students’ language, literacy and numeracy upon enrolment to identify what additional support, if any, is required.
Wellbeing services
Industry Careers Consultants at NECA are trained in mental health first aid to equip them with the tools to support apprentices in dealing with challenges they may be facing at or outside of work.
Work health & safety
Safety is our priority at NECA Education & Careers; in particular, worksite safety.
As our employees, NECA apprentices have access to our employee assistance program (EAP), a dedicated industry careers consultant (ICC), and the support of the NECA E&C return to work coordinator.

NECA Education & Careers engages Carfi for EAP, which provides confidential counselling.
Industry careers consultants
Each apprentice is assigned a dedicated ICC who will meet with them in regular site visits to make sure they’re making progress on and off site. They can also call on the ICC at any time for guidance.
Return to work
If a workplace incident does unfortunately occur, our return-to-work co-ordinator is there to help apprentices deal with the process, such as managing occupational rehabilitation.
