Course Description

Gain the skills to safely isolate, test, tag, disconnect and reconnect a permanently wired electrical appliance compliant with the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules and the AS/NZS 4836:2011-Safe working on or near low-voltage electrical installations and equipment.

You will also learn to undertake the necessary electrical tests to ensure the appliance is safe prior to reconnection and commissioning. Please note that the latest edition of any standard includes relevant amendments.

As of 1 July 2016, it is a condition of your licence to undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD). This course will earn you 8 points towards your CPD points.

Course Details

You will need to bring your own IR tester which you are familiar with.
