Why you should complete CPD training
In Tasmania, the electrical licensing system is regulated by Consumer, Building and Occupational Services (CBOS). As part of the state’s licensing requirements, all electrical practitioners must demonstrate ongoing competence by completing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Electrical practitioners are required to demonstrate completion of an average of 12 CPD points per year (totaling 36 points over a 3-year licence period) to renew their licence.
